It’s exciting to be a part of Our Daily Bread’s design team – not only as a concept
designer, but also as one of their artists! I’m Dina Kowal – you may have seen my
stamped work here or on my blog, Mama Dini’s Stamperia. I post as “dini” on
several online stamping boards. My life is far from ordinary, and I wear a lot of hats
– wife, mother of 4, daughter, sister, friend, mentor, teacher, missionary,
encourager, and artist. As a family, we serve overseas as missionaries with New
Tribes Mission.
dkdesigns was born from a desire to see the Christian rubber stamping industry
“grow up” in the area of collage-type stamps with Biblical themes. “DK” has the
obvious representation of my initials, but is also a play on the Greek word
“diakonos”. Diakonos means “the servant of a king”. What a privilege we have as
stampers – to serve our King by creatively using His Word to encourage others.
